Minecraft: system requirements and release date

It's hard to believe, but Maincraft also has its own system requirements. It would seem that the game is made in a minimalist style, the whole world consists exclusively of cubes, and some items are added. And many gamers believe that this game will go absolutely on any computer, but they are seriously mistaken. In fact, you need to check the configuration of your computer before starting this game, but still do not take it too seriously. System requirements in this case, rather, are a formality, so you can play on almost all available today's PC. However, the requirements should still be familiarized to avoid any misunderstandings when launching Minecraft. System requirements in this case can change with the release of new additions, but in most cases the changes are so insignificant that you will not even notice them.

release date

First you need to talk about when Minecraft came out. System requirements can often be determined by the release date. But not in this case, because this game is unique. At first glance it can be said that it came out at least ten years ago, but in fact the release date of this project is November 18, 2011. This means that "Maynkraft" is not even four years old, which can surprise many. Also striking is the fact that for the 2011 game system requirements correspond, more likely, just to the project of ten years ago. But there's no point in talking about it - it's better to take a quick look at what kind of computer you'll need to run Minecraft. System requirements for this game can even be a little funny, especially if you take for consideration the minimum.

CPU

In Minecraft system requirements - this is a simple formality for most gamers, because now many people buy themselves eight-core processors, gigabytes of video and RAM, as well as hard drives for terabytes of information. However, you can still meet computers with funny configurations of the beginning of the century, so the system requirements should be looked at in detail. So, what kind of processor do you need to run Maincraft? If you plan to reduce the graphics settings to a minimum, play with a limited range and other similar functions that reduce the load on the CPU, then you will have enough of a single-core processor with a clock speed of up to 1.5 gigahertz. However, if you still want to get the most out of the game, it's better that you have a dual-core processor, and the performance of its cores was at least 2.2 gigahertz. Minecraft 1.8 system requirements specify exactly these figures, but earlier versions of the game required even less.

RAM

In this case for Minecraft, the minimum system requirements can cause many to laugh. As you remember, most modern projects require at least six, if not all, eight gigabytes of RAM. But if you are going to play "Minecraft", then you will have enough of the smallest thing - 256 megabytes of RAM. It's worth saying that now you can hardly even buy such a small memory bar, because modern computers usually use much more. So in any case, you do not have to worry about the fact that this project will start - there will not be any minimum requirements at all. But if you want to achieve maximum performance, total absence of glitches both in single mode and in game over the network, then you will need a bit more RAM - around two gigabytes. It is worth to strive for this indicator. As you can see, the system requirements of Minecraft 1.5.2 and other versions do not scare at all, and sometimes even touch the old school gamers who still remember the old games that took a couple of hundred megabytes of disk space.

Video card

Modern video cards offer users a huge variety of options: support for shaders for maximum realism, support for augmented reality devices and much more. All this you will not need if you look at Minecraft's minimum requirements. The fact is that you only need 64 megabytes of video memory, so that your game will start and function on minimal graphics settings. However, most likely you want something more, so it's better to immediately strive for a maximum, especially since in this case the maximum is still at a rather low level. The recommended requirements for the game indicate that you can raise the graphics settings to ideal if you have a video card with 256 megabytes of video memory. It should be noted immediately that such a video card is absolutely on all computers, so there will not be any problems with this.

Hard disk space

Many gamers now pay close attention to how much space is occupied by this or that game on the hard disk. The fact is that modern projects often weigh incredibly much - up to eighty gigabytes. Of course, modern technologies allow storing several terabytes of information on the hard disk, but in any case everyone likes to control the disk space, so this parameter is very important. And in the case of Meincraft, you do not have to worry at all: without add-ons and patches, the game will weigh ninety megabytes, but even completely updated and pumped, it will not exceed 150 megabytes in size.

Internet connection

Naturally, you do not necessarily need the Internet to play "Maincraft", since there is a single mode in it. But still playing on the network is a huge part of this project, and it is recommended to have a good and stable connection.
