Medicinal preparation "Amiksin". Instructions for use

Amiksin, the instruction to which describes its pharmacological properties, is used to treat a variety of serious diseases. So, it is used to treat different types of hepatitis, such as A, C, B; Herpes; Cytomegalovirus infection, respiratory and urogenital chlamydiosis in adult patients. Since this drug is safe for children older than 7 years, it is often used to treat ARVI and various types of influenza. In combination with other drugs, amaxine is used to treat encephalitis and tuberculosis.

Amiksin, the instruction to the testimony of which describes in detail all cases in which the use of this medication is advisable, is, to date, listed as the most important and vital means. The active substance of this drug is a chemical substance - tilorone. It is considered an inducer of interferon. The substance interferon is synthesized by hepatocytes, T-lymphocytes, intestinal epitheliocytes. Interferon is maximally concentrated in the patient's blood a day after the drug is used.

The given preparation is made in the form of tablets. Amixin tablets are child (60 mg) and for adults (125 mg). The drug is packaged in 10 or 6 tablets in each package. This drug is taken orally after meals.

Amiksin, instructions for use:

- as a prophylactic against hepatitis A: one tablet every 7 days, for 42 days;

- for different types of hepatitis:

1. For hepatitis A: on the first day - one tablet twice a day; And in the following days - on a tablet every two days. The treatment requires 10 tablets.

2. With chronic hepatitis B: in the first two days - two tablets, and in the following days - on a tablet every two days. The treatment requires 10 tablets.

3. For acute hepatitis B and C: in the first two days - one tablet, and in the following days - on a tablet every two days. The treatment requires 20 tablets.

- in the treatment of acute respiratory infections and influenza: in the first two days - one tablet, and in the following days - on a tablet every two days. 5 tablets are needed for treatment.

- when preventing ARVI and influenza: one tablet every 7 days, for 42 days.

- In the treatment of herpes, cytomegalovirus infections: in the first two days - one tablet, and in the following days - on a tablet every two days. The treatment requires 20 tablets.

- with chlamydia: the first two days - one tablet, and the next days - a tablet every two days. The treatment requires 10 tablets.

- in the complex treatment of other viral diseases, the dose and course of treatment are prescribed strictly individually.

Amiksin has its clearly marked contraindications. These include: lactation period, pregnancy, age less than 7 years and sensitivity to this drug. There are no laboratory confirmed data on the incompatibility of this drug with other antiviral drugs.

Amiksin, the instruction to which gives clear instructions on how to store the drug, should be kept in a dark, dry place with a temperature of 15 to 25 ° C. Violation of storage conditions leads to the inapplicability of the drug for effective treatment.

The drug amixin is dispensed in pharmacies without a doctor's prescription, but this does not mean that it can be taken uncontrolled at its own discretion. Since this drug contains substances that can cause various side effects, it should be used with caution. As with the use of other drugs, before starting the drug amixin, instructions for its use should be carefully studied.
