Lake Deaf in the coniferous forest

The nature of the Middle Urals provides us with many opportunities for a full rest. Its tourism potential is not yet fully used. The region has a quite moderate climate acceptable to most people and a lot of worthy tourist attractions of natural sites. Some of them have already been mastered and are widely popular. Other, not less significant, have been left out of public attention.

Lake Glukhoe, located not far from Ekaterinburg, allows you to change the situation and disconnect from the reality of the metropolis. The reservoir justifies its name - there is no noise and city bustle. Coniferous forests and bogs reliably cover it from the motorway, which is passing on a small distance, along which it can be quickly reached. Lake Glukhoe is a piece of wildlife, still in almost primeval purity, as crowds of tourists pass along the road past him. Relict coniferous forest on its shore has to put a tent here and spend a week or two in relative silence and peace, enjoying the Urals nature. It is important only to leave then everything here as it was before you appeared on these shores. The Deaf Lake must remain clean further. Garbage here is inappropriate, it should be taken away with you for subsequent disposal. Actually, you should always do this, going to nature in any place. But it is in this place that everything is explained by the fact that the reservoir is located on the territory of a landscape nature monument, administratively structured in Verkh-Isetsky forestry. The lake is replenished due to the flow of a few shallow streams, and the only river flows from it - Glukhovsky Istok. The shores of the lake with dense thickets of vegetation are a nesting place for many species of waterfowl.

Amateur fishing on this pond is free of charge, at least until now. The main types of fish that are found here are perch and pike. Preferably to carry out fishing from a boat or other boat. Exit to shore in many places is very difficult due to its waterlogging. The depth of the reservoir rarely exceeds one and a half meters and only in its deepest part reaches four. Despite the fact that it is impossible to guarantee a rich catch, this is not a reason not to go on vacation to the Glukhoe Lake. The only public facility operating on the territory of a landscape natural monument is City Hospital No. 22, Lake Glukhoe. This is a cardiac hospital. His presence here is completely justified. Coniferous relict forest on the shore of a natural reservoir has a beneficial effect on patients with heart disease. And the distance from the capital of the Urals is only 18 kilometers along the Novomoskovsky tract. The nearest settlement to the hospital is Svetlaya Rechka.
