Jaba Kankava was born in Tbilisi, in 1986, on the 18th of March. This is a Georgian football player, playing on the position of a midfielder, and at the moment he defends the colors of the French club "Reims".

early years

Jaba Kankava is a pupil of the football school of the club "Dinamo" (Tbilisi). Attention to himself, as a promising football player, he attracted in 2004. It was then that his native team managed to break into the group stage of a serious tournament - the UEFA Cup. Yes, and the young man played an important role in this. After all, his goal, sent to the goal of "Slavia" (Czech Republic), was a pass to the UEFA Cup.

After that, Alain Girac, who was the head coach of the national Georgian team at that time, invited the young midfielder to the team. Debut Jaba Kankava occurred in September - he was released on the field in the qualifying match of the World Cup. Then Georgia played against Albania. Further career

In 2005, in February, Jaba Kankava became a player of "Alania". A little later he was invited to Kiev "Arsenal". In the Ukrainian championship his debut took place in 2006 on the 5th of March. From the achievements it should be noted that in the 2004/05 season Jaba Kankava became the champion of Georgia, and the year before with his team he won bronze at the Championship of the country. With FC "Dnepr" became a finalist of the UEFA Europa League - the most important achievement. And once again took bronze and silver in the championship of Ukraine.

March 30, 2014 there was a situation thanks to which Kankava became even more popular and respected. It was a match that took place in the championship of Ukraine, "Dnepr" played against "Dynamo". During the game, the captain of Kiev, Oleg Gusev, faced Denis Boyko, the goalkeeper of the opponents. Because of this collision, he fell, hit hard, lost consciousness and swallowed his tongue. The first to orient was the Georgian midfielder - he provided the necessary assistance, thanks to which his comrade's breath on the field was restored. Thus, Jaba Kankava saved Oleg Gusev's life. He was even awarded with the Badge of Honor of the State Service of Ukraine for this.

Jaba himself believes that he did nothing unusual - he did as he should. But the doctor of Dnepropetrovsk hospital in his interview assured that this first aid really became a salvation for the captain of Kiev. If the player rushed to save later - then, perhaps, the consequences could not have been prevented.

Jaba Kankava himself said that his favorite championship is the English Premier League. And he himself is a dedicated fan of "Manchester United".
