Internal organs of man: structure and location

Almost all people know that the body consists of a skeleton, a set of organs and various systems. But that's how it is located, not everyone knows. Therefore, I want to understand how the internal organs of a person are located. The structure and location are discussed below.

Base

It is worth saying that the basis of the whole human body is the skeleton. It performs two major functions: biological and mechanical. It is the bones that support all the internal organs of a person, and also help to perform various motor movements, working as a kind of lever for muscles. In addition, the muscles also help the functioning of internal organs, linking their activities with each other and helping to maintain the vital functions of the body.

Brain

Considering the internal organs of man, structure and location, it is necessary to start with the brain. This accumulation of nerve tissue, which is inside the skull, it determines the work of the whole organism. Next comes the spinal cord, which directly connects to the head. This is a complex of nerves, which is located in the vertebral canal, and ends in the lower back. The main function: the transmission of signals from the brain to the rest of the organs. In a special depression in the skull is the pituitary gland. He is responsible for the production of hormones in the body.

Torso: upper part

So, how are the internal organs of a person located? Their structure in the torso begins with the placement at the base of the neck of the thyroid gland, which produces a useful hormone, which allows to properly digest the resulting food. Then follows the trachea, the main function of which is the respiratory system, at the bottom it passes into two bronchi, which transmit air to the lungs and withdraw it back. Below the trachea, the thymus gland is located in the center - a valuable organ not only of the immune system, but also of internal secretion. Slightly deeper behind the bronchi are the lungs, which are protected from all sides by ribs. They perform the function of oxygen saturation of the body, and also produce carbon dioxide. Even in the chest to the left (only a small part of the heart is located on the right side), slightly below the sternum, the heart is located, the main function of which is the pumping of blood throughout the body.

Abdomen

We further consider how the internal organs of a person are located. Their structure is as follows: on the right side above the navel is the liver, a very large organ with a mass of functions. Near the bottom of the liver is a gallbladder, the main role of which is the accumulation of bile and with its help the digestion of fats found in food. In the center and slightly to the left in the upper part of the peritoneum is the stomach, which processes the incoming food. Under it is located pancreas, which produces a very necessary hormone insulin. Important is located on the left side of the spleen. The level is lower, on both sides of the peritoneum, the kidneys are located.

The lower part of the torso

The outline of the structure of the internal organs of man is further extended by the intestine: thin and thick. Under it, the women have ovaries on both sides, as well as the uterus. Below follows the bladder with the ureters and rectum.

In short, this is the whole anatomy of a person (the structure of internal organs), but it is possible to talk about the functions of an organism indefinitely, because this is the greatest creation of nature.
