When summer comes, lovers of outdoor recreation clutch at the head, because along with heat, inconveniences, such as annoying insects, also come. They find you everywhere and always, it's impossible to hide from them, but there is still salvation - these are repellents. If you use a cream from mosquitoes, then you can quite happily spend time outdoors, not caring for annoying insects, but only until a certain time. Because the effective remedy for the midges has not yet been invented. But do not despair, because you can always use proven folk remedies, such as vanillin from midges.
Diluted vanillin
It may seem incredible, but vanillin is an excellent insect killer, especially small gnats, which often just do not give a passage in the street. They fly in clouds and can sit on the arm of a man almost a whole swarm - it looks terrible, and the sensations are not pleasant. Moreover, some midges in the high season can be very aggressive and bite the unprotected person, which will cause severe itching and inflammation. But nevertheless, most often midge are harmless in this respect and are vexed only by their annoying presence in huge quantities. But even from this you can get rid of, if you use vanillin from midges. The most ordinary powdered vanillin in bags, which is sold in any food store. The recipe for the protective agent is extremely simple - you need to dilute half a bag of vanillin in a glass of water, how to stir, and the resulting liquid to apply to all exposed skin. Half an hour later, do the same procedure with the second half of the sachet. After that, you can safely go to the street, because no midge will not want to sit on you.
Spraying of vanilla solution
However, it is impossible not to admit that it is not too convenient to use vanillin from midges in this way. Therefore, craftsmen have long come up with a logical way out of the predicament. It's enough just to take a bottle of vanilla water and a sprayer, which is fixed instead of the bottle cap - and the design is ready. You can spray yourself on the skin with any solution, without smearing hands and without saving the product. Remember only about the ratio, because on a liter bottle of water you will need 2-3 bags of vanillin. The convenience of this method of using vanillin is that such a homemade spray can be taken with you and sprinkled yourself if you start to feel that the midges are flocking to you again.
Vanilla Cream
But the most reliable remedy for midges is a baby cream, which is added all the same vanillin. If you use vanillin from midges in this way, then the effect will be an order of magnitude better than when diluting the powder in water. But this drug has its own significant disadvantage - because of the density of the cream in hot weather, you just sweat sweats. So you have to choose one of the options - or less powerful tool that can be used with comfort, or powerful insect protection, the use of which is not too pleasant.
