How to reduce fuel consumption. KamAZ are simple rules.

Since the eighties of the last century, the Neftekamsk Dump Truck Plant produces KamAZ trucks of various modifications. The car was popular enough in due time, however and to this day it is in great demand. In addition, the specialists of the issuing company are constantly working on its improvement.

First of all, the future car owner, in addition to all the technical characteristics of the car, is interested in fuel consumption. KamAZ is no exception.

For road transport, there are different types of fuel consumption norms that are designed to plan its needs and control the flow. This is especially important for companies that carry out, or any activity using trucks.

For trucks, many types of fuel consumption standards are established, depending on the modification of the machine and the specifics of its purpose. In order to make a statement about the car in this respect, it is enough to pay attention to the main types of norms:

• The linear norm, set for the mileage of the car for every hundred kilometers. This norm is basic.
• The norm, established for the performance of any transport work, taking into account the additional fuel consumption for the movement of a laden vehicle.

Take, for example, the famous collective farmer - a model of the KamAZ 55102 car. The fuel consumption rate for KamAZ of this modification, the carrying capacity of which is seven tons at a maximum speed of 80 km / h is 31 liters. For comparison: another model KamAZ 55111, with a carrying capacity of thirteen tons, at the same speed has a fuel consumption rate of eight liters more.

Therefore, like any other car, in the KamAZ model, fuel consumption directly depends on the weight of the car. Therefore, trying to improve the car, experts thought about its cost-effectiveness.

Today, on some modifications of the KamAZ dump truck, a dump truck is used that has an oval section of the body, which allows to significantly reduce the weight of the car and save fuel consumption by 5-6%. The same advantages are provided by the use of new engines on KamAZ vehicles.

Nevertheless, the correct technique of driving a car is not only the main condition for increasing its service life and the absence of emergency situations, as well as economical fuel consumption. KamAZ to achieve this goal should not be overloaded.

The traffic on KamAZ should be started smoothly only after the engine warms up. Jerks at the beginning of the movement lead to the slipping of the car, thereby accelerating tire wear on wheels and increasing fuel consumption.

It is also possible to significantly reduce KamAZ's fuel consumption by correctly performing maneuvers while driving. For example, increasing the speed at descent to overcome the rise due to inertia. In this case, the car will not be with a constantly running engine, which will stop the full supply of fuel and will save it.

In addition, there are certain rules, observing which on any car, you can significantly reduce fuel consumption. KAMAZ can also meet them. If possible, do not use the car radio and lighting equipment, because they increase fuel consumption.

The chosen route should be convenient. Its convenience is not in reducing the route, but in the absence of a large number of traffic lights and traffic jams on the road. Since under the condition of constant braking and starting, fuel consumption will also increase.

In addition, the car must be in good condition, which requires periodic maintenance.
