Grace is what? The meaning of the word "grace." God's grace

When you reflect on what is grace, the question arises: "How does it differ from the concepts of love and mercy?" In the literary Old Russian work "The Word of Law and Grace," one can draw many interesting conclusions on this subject. According to the church teaching, it is the supernatural gift of God to man.

Holy fathers consider grace as "Divine glory", "rays of the Godhead," "uncreated light." Its action is possessed by all three components of the Holy Trinity. In the writings of St. Gregory Palamas it is said that it is "the energy of the general and Divine power and action in the Triune God."

First of all, everyone must understand for themselves that grace is not the same thing as the love of God and his mercy (mercy). These three absolutely different manifestations of God's character. The highest grace is when a person receives what he does not deserve and is not worthy.

Love. Grace. God's grace

The main feature of God is love. It manifests itself in His concern for people, their protection, forgiveness (13 chap. 1 Corinthians). By the mercy of the Supreme man, it is possible to avoid even a well-deserved punishment, as evidenced by Adam's forgiveness for his sins. His God not only did not kill him, but he also granted him the chance of salvation through the sacrifice offered by Jesus Christ. As for grace, it is not uncommon in scriptures to find such a definition: grace is undeserved mercy. But we can say that this is a one-sided formulation. Some people who have received revelations from above claim that God's grace is also the power of the Heavenly Father, expressed as a gift, so that a person can easily endure what he can not easily overcome, no matter how hard he tries.

Divine energy is available to those who sincerely believe

Every day, God must be approached in sincere prayer with such a sense that without him in life nothing will be as it should be, and only with it everything will manifest itself in the best possible way. Humility before the Supreme, faith in him open access to his grace, requests become heard. The Bible Church "The Word of Grace" teaches how to properly address the prayer to the Heavenly Father.

All who receive Jesus Christ will be saved through their faith. In the source of Ephesians (2: 8-9) it is written, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." It also follows that through what salvation comes, it must be honored, people should live by grace.

In the open heart, God does not have to knock

From the realization that God is always there and not only to support in the hour of need, there comes a joyful pacification, because a person begins to feel that he has the closest and most reliable friend. It manifests itself in every moment of everyday life, in every detail, even at first glance, imperceptible. Not a single detail passes by the sight of the Almighty. That's why, with sincere faith, everything happens with God's help, and not exclusively with our own forces. The Bible Church is also trying to convey this truth to all laity. Grace, According to her churchmen, everyone deserves. To gain access to it, you just need to rejoice at every moment of your life and not rely solely on your own strengths.

What closes the way to God?

There are three ways, how to humiliate one's faith and thereby withdraw from God - this is pride, self-pity and grievances. Pride is manifested in the fact that a person ascribes to himself those merits that were rewarded by the grace of the Heavenly Father. By this, the sinner "steals" glory from God. The proud person considers himself independent, but he can do nothing without Christ. Visiting the biblical church, grace In which is felt a single stream, every layman will hear from the mentor that the sinfulness of such a plan ruins a person's soul.

Self-pity can be attributed to idolatry. A man, always thinking about his miserable fate, in fact, worships only himself. His thoughts: "But what about me?" - lead to profound errors. In it, the true philanthropy is less and less apparent. He loses spiritual strength, as pity contributes to this.

Complaints are the first way to forget about gratitude to the Heavenly Father. Complaining, a person belittles everything that the Supreme has done and will do for him. After carefully studying the law and grace, a person understands that God needs to be grateful even for small gifts. He also knows better what is right for a person, and what is wrong, what he needs more.

Who is worthy of grace?

Usually, before a person learns to live by professing the Bible scripture taught by the Church of the Word of Grace, there may be a mess in his life. A woman can be grumpy, manipulate members of her family, try to keep everything under her watchful control. A man can be rude to the household. But it is important to understand that to make other people not irritate, but bring joy, we need to start changes from ourselves and first of all open our hearts to God, trust them. Over time, positive changes will begin in many areas of life.

God has for everyone his own individual plan, and he leads to learning to rejoice in every day. Often, people do not succeed because of the presence in their lives of constant fears and doubts. And you just need to trust the Higher, he always and in everything will help, direct, give strength, to do what is necessary.

Earthly work and grace

The Word of God says that a person can be given something in kindness, as a gift from above. It can come to someone who, at first glance, according to earthly laws, absolutely does not deserve him, who did nothing for this. One must understand that grace and work can not co-exist at the same time. Because it is difficult for Christians to understand and accept this fact, instead of enjoying what they already have and using it to comprehend the depth of the relationship with God, they always try to get what they already have through work .

It is believed that grace is something for which God gave the best heavenly and thereby saved the worst of the earth. And so everyone can count on it, but this does not mean that you can do nothing, not improve, do not honor the Almighty. He gives strength first of all to those who believe in him with all their heart, then every day a person will pass in joy. The main thing is to trust in his goodness and wisdom.

The essence of divine energies

God's grace is a gift. It neither buy nor sell, it is God-sent mercy, its uncreated energy, which can be diverse. There is a worshiping energy that makes man a god by grace, it sanctifies it, adores it. There are enlightening, purifying, sanctifying energies. With their help, God supports human existence.

Divine energy is the healer of the human soul

Jesus said, "... As a branch can not bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so also you, except ye abide in me" (John 15: 4). And this means that the Heavenly Father does not require a man to do with his own resources, God's grace will descend to everyone who believes in him completely.

Divine energy is the bridge between man and God. If it is not there, then between the first and the second is an irresistible abyss. That's why Christians worship holy icons, relics, as they are the bearers of God's grace and help to join the energies of the Heavenly Father.

The greatest mystery of grace is humility. When a person accepts and repents, he looks only at himself and does not judge anyone. In this case, the Supreme receives and purifies his soul. It is possible to stretch out grace through the unswerving observance of God's commandments, but most quickly the gracious energy will descend to the humble through their repentance.
