Choose for recreation of Lake Kazan

There is an amazing city in Tatarstan, where the thousand-year-old Muslim oriental culture is in perfect harmony with modern western skyscrapers. It is equally fascinating to study its nature, especially the lakes of Kazan, most of which are located right in the city.

This is how the capital of Tatarstan looks - the hospitable mistress of a beautiful and majestic land.

Reservoirs of the city

Even his legends are connected with water, so it has been customary since antiquity. For example, the basis of the name of the city itself is the legend that in search of a place for its construction, people turned to the sage and the wizard for help. Imagine their surprise and disappointment when they heard that the city should be where the cauldron with water would boil without fire.

To make a miracle, they made it out of gold and began to check, maybe, where the earth warmed up enough to boil water. So it happened - in the place where the Bulak-river flowed into Kazanka, the boiler boiled without flames. Here the city of Kazan appeared, named after that very event.

And it so happened that it is here that numerous lakes are located, which for modern residents of the capital have become favorite places for recreation:

• Black.
• Blue Lakes.
• Forestry.
• Emerald.
• Deep.
• Lebyazhye.

Each lake in Kazan has its own legend or history, as well as its admirers. Unfortunately, not all of them correspond to ecological and sanitary norms, but to the fault all the same townspeople, many of whom live by the principle "after us at least the deluge."

Blue Lakes

A whole chain of reservoirs stretches, framed by emerald greenery, just 20 km from the city. Lakes with water of unusual blue color flow into one another and resemble the low of precious sapphires, dropped by someone here a long time ago.

The blue lakes of Kazan are of karst origin and formed on the site of funnels, resulting from subsidence many hundreds of years ago. The earth fell through with the trees, the remains of which can still be seen today.

Most of the lakes are shallow, but all have very clear and transparent water, which is often used by diving enthusiasts. There are no fishermen here, since there is no fish at all-cold and salty water does not allow it to live or reproduce here.

Underground springs that feed the Blue Lakes with their waters give them a sulphate composition, which makes them curative, so you can often see bathing people here, although a water temperature of +8 degrees requires some hardening.

Divers of the Blue Lakes have a custom to place a decorated Christmas tree on the bottom of the deepest of them, which is perfectly visible from the shore thanks to clear and transparent water.

Lake Glubokoe

How large the capital of Tatarstan can be judged by the size of the water bodies located on its territory. The deep lake (Kazan), a recreation center on its shore belong to the Kirov district of the city. It is an amazingly beautiful wild corner of nature within city life.

Surrounded by a coniferous forest, the reservoir is located behind the village of Zalesny. Its depth is 26 m, and only on one side the beach is suitable for bathing and diving, for which special bridges are equipped here. Very clean sand and a water temperature of +23 degrees make it a favorite place for a family summer vacation, when the work "does not let go" people from the city.

Quite near the shore, in the forest, there are cozy cottages of the recreation center "Glubokoe Lake". Their fund is designed for 1-, 2- and 3-bed rooms with all amenities. The houses are equipped with heating, so here you can meet the New Year or spend the winter holidays. In the cottages of the category "luxury" there is a fireplace, air conditioning and a toilet in each room.

Emerald Lake

This place is difficult to call a lake, since its origin is completely artificial. At the site of the sand pit, which from year to year deepened the excavators, formed a reservoir, which filled the groundwater. Whatever it was, Lake Emerald (Kazan) fully justifies its name, and its waters are really unusually beautiful color.

It's good that the reservoir went into private ownership, and here they strictly monitor cleanliness, fine for rubbish thrown in an unauthorized place (urns are everywhere), and monitor the state of sand. Water also meets all sanitary standards, and on the beach for the convenience of the guests there are dressing rooms and "mushrooms" from the sun. For toddlers fenced "paddling pool" for bathing, as the bottom is sharply cut off, which can be dangerous for those who can not swim.

The pond is surrounded by a pine forest, but it's not quite convenient to get to it (it's still 20 minutes from the bus stop), so there are never many people on the Emerald, but for some local residents it's a plus.

Lake Lesnoye

This reservoir is located in the Aviastroitelny district and, unfortunately, it is a model of human stupidity, immorality and impunity.

Forest Lake (Kazan) was once quite a picturesque place surrounded by forest with a beach covered with emerald grass. But today instead of vegetation - all plastic bottles, packages, remains of fires on the ground, and in general it is not recommended to go into the water, because there simply wash the cars all to no avail.

Apparently, as long as the pond is not given to private business that would monitor compliance with cleanliness standards, or state penalties of such magnitude are not introduced to significantly hamper the pocket, the result and restoration of the ecological balance will not be.

Indifference of officials and uncleanliness of local residents are simply amazing. As if these people do not live here, do not rest and bring their children and grandchildren here. As always, the Kazan lakes can only hope for enthusiasts and people who are not indifferent to what they are doing with their homeland.

Lake Boar

The capital of Tatarstan is full of surprises and places where it is worth to visit. Seven lakes (Kazan) is a water pearl of the city, and among them the most interesting tourists are the Kaban pond. Still would! All the legends, where the treasures are mentioned, are the most popular, and the places are visited.

As people say, it was in this lake that the huge treasury of the Kazan khan was thrown out during the siege of the city by the troops of Ivan the Terrible, and since then they have been looking for it on its muddy bottom. There are no attempts today, because in any legend there is always a grain of truth.
