Badges on clothes and their meaning

Probably, very few people do not know the old, bearded anecdote about how the pope refused to buy his son sneakers until that skate does not demolish. A couple of decades ago this bike was still relevant, but not today. Never before have people met by their clothes, as now, so every person tries to update his wardrobe as often as possible in the capacity of financial possibilities. And if earlier the types of cloth were once or twice and obchelsya, but today there are so many of them that badges on clothes, the meaning of which tells how to properly take care of it, does not fit into memory. Therefore, I would like to clarify this situation and decipher the most common symbols.

So, if on the label you saw a schematic image of a basin with water, this means that this thing can be washed in a washing machine. Degrees placed in the center of the basin show the maximum temperature at which the product can be washed without damaging its structure. The crossed-out pelvis indicates that this garment is subject to dry cleaning only, and the painted container with the hand says that you can only wash the thing with your hands. The symbolic image of the washing machine, circled in a circle, indicates that it is forbidden to use this product when washing this product.

We continue to study badges on clothes. The triangle indicates that the product can be bleached using chlorine. If this icon is crossed out, you can not bleach, and if it is shaded, you can, but without chlorine. Next, let's talk about ironing. It is difficult to make a mistake here, because the symbol of the iron is known to everyone. But nevertheless we will remind: the crossed iron forbids any ironing of a product, and the iron taken in a circle, speaks that the temperature of the device should not make more than 140 degrees. One, two or three points inside the symbol also indicate the temperature (not higher than 120, 130 and 200 degrees, respectively). If you see an iron with a cross that crosses symbolic pairs, it's also clear here: you can not steam out a thing.

Now consider the conventional signs on clothing, indicating drying. So, the lying figure eight (or the symbol of infinity, as you prefer) indicates that the product can not be unscrewed. The horizontal rectangle (sometimes just a square) with three vertical dashes inside says that the thing can be dried in suspended form and without spinning. If a horizontal line is shown inside the figure, in this case the wet garment should dry on a flat surface in the unfolded form. The crossed out figure does not allow to dry the thing (it is usually shown next to the symbol forbidding washing). If a square is shaded one corner, this means that you can dry the product only in the shade.

If you have an electric dryer, pay attention to such badges on clothes: a symbol similar to an outlet (two dots in a circle enclosed in a square) means normal drying. If the point is one, use a gentle mode, and if three, you can dry it at a sufficiently high temperature. A crossed-out circle forbids drying a thing in an electric dryer. If nothing is crossed out and there are no points, you can safely dry the thing as you want.

But what they say are badges on clothes about dry cleaning. The usual circle symbolizes an exceptionally dry cleaning. If the circle is crossed out, dry cleaning is, of course, prohibited. If inside the circle you see the letter A, you can safely clean the product with any organic solvent. The letter F suggests that stains can be removed only by kerosene, ethylperchlorate, pure alcohol, VIS and B111. The letter P excludes from the previous composition of cleaning agents ethylperchlorate and B111.

Here, perhaps, and all, the most common badges on clothes that you can find when buying a product. Proper care will keep your things in perfect condition for a long time. But, of course, this is not a reason to "wear out skates", denying yourself a new "sneakers".
