The model of the house made of paper, the scheme of which is attached in this article, is a simple construction, although the work on its creation can become an interesting creative process that requires attention and perseverance. Paper will need a tight, newspaper or packaging will not work.

It is better to take a standard A4 sheet in the size of 29x21 cm. If the contours of your future home do not fit into the size of the sheet, you can glue two by the "joint-to-splice" method with a strip of 2 centimeters wide. After the desired size has been obtained, it is necessary to make a markup. We propose to build a paper house layout that will be rectangular in plan, two-story, with three doors, windows and a gable roof.

Drawing

First of all, we recommend to copy our scheme, which you see in the photo, in order to indicate the size of the future building. Then you need to decide which layout will have the length and width. Write these numbers on the diagram. Next, determine the height of the first and second floors, as well as the roof. Now you can transfer the resulting drawing to a base sheet using a ruler and a pencil, measuring all the parameters of the future house. The next step is to draw windows and doors. Their location can be changed as you like, relying on your own taste. The model of the house made of paper allows making structural changes at any stage of construction.

Build a layout

The next step is to draw all the "wings" that you see on the diagram. They will play the role of mounting brackets when assembling the layout, support the roof and connect the walls. Then follows the most responsible part of the work, which requires accuracy and attention. Go through all lines of the drawing with a ballpoint pen on the ruler and with pressure. This is done so that you can bend the paper in the right place.

A paper house model requires precise fold lines. After all the boundaries are drawn, it is possible to cut out windows and doors with scissors, and also "wings". The next crucial moment: you need to bend the entire structure correctly and glue it in the right places. We recommend PVA glue for this. When the model dries, you can proceed with the coloring.

Such buildings are performed not only from paper. The model of the house with your own hands can also be made of cardboard, the material is strong enough for the building to look "really", with doors, windows, floors and ceiling, interior decoration and even the occupants sitting inside on miniature sofas and chairs.

It all depends on how much the "builder" is interested in the final result. He can build any model of the house with his own hands. However, its implementation is a complex creative process, requiring accuracy and assiduity. The tool will need the usual: scissors, clerical pull-out knife, awlo, ruler (better metal) and PVA glue.

Corrugation as the main material

Cardboard for making a layout is better to take two types: smooth and corrugated three-layer. The second will go to the load-bearing walls, floor and ceiling, and the first - to produce a corner for connecting separate parts of the structure, small details of exterior and interior decoration. The model of the house made of cardboard needs to be based. This can be a plate glued from two layers of corrugated or cut from plywood. The base or sole of the layout is delineated according to the size of the future house and can be made up with decorative miniature flower beds, garden vases, benches.

Next, you need to draw on the basis of the layout of the walls, porch and extensions. After that, you can start making the main parts: walls with cut out door and window openings, ceiling and floor of the second floor (if the house is two-storeyed). To assemble the structure it is necessary to prepare corners from thin smooth cardboard. The longer the corner, the stronger the connection. Optimum length of it should be at least 70% of the length of the connection. The width of the cardboard corner is 1.5-2.0 cm.

The model of the house with your own hands made of wood can be made only with the participation of adults, since the work is related to woodworking machines for home use. They are quite dangerous if there are no working skills. The hand tool for wood processing also requires caution when working with it. Blades of knives, planes, nail files and pins have sharply sharpened cutting edges.

Models of wooden houses with their own hands require accuracy in the process of work. Their creation is a fascinating creative activity, during which the master can show ingenuity and ingenuity. First you need to draw a drawing of the future house. Then make the base for the layout. After that you can start creating the details.

Walls and floors should be made of thin plates with a width of 1.5-2.0 cm and a thickness of 5.0-7.0 mm. Finish

The assembled layout should be sanded and polished. This is done manually with glass-marking grade 25-N on a fabric basis. Then the surfaces are grinded with a pure 8-H skin to complete smoothness. After processing, the layout can be painted, installed doors, inserted windows and perform finishing work.

The model of the house, created by itself, as a rule, has a removable roof. This is to ensure that there is free access to the internal premises, as in a miniature building will have to install toy furniture and other items of interior decoration. The surface of the walls is pasted with "wallpaper", i.e. painted with strips of paper. The floor should be painted brown or linoleum - it can be made from an oilcloth.
