When it is recommended to replace the battery in the laptop
The laptop certainly has an advantage over the desktop in the sense that it can be used almost anywhere. After all, the battery of this mobile device is able to keep a charge, which is enough for up to four, and even up to five hours of operation. Therefore, many users prefer this device only for this reason, even despite the higher cost of the laptop than a similar stationary computer.
But, as we know, in this world there is nothing eternal, unfortunately. This applies to the battery. Sooner or later there comes a time when it is recommended to replace the laptop battery. When it comes - definitely can not be said. It all depends on the intensity of use, as well as the correctness. The battery can exhaust itself both for a year, and to hold on about four-five years.
It is worth noting that the batteries are also different. For example, there are lithium, and there are nickel ones. The first can last much longer than the last. Because, due to its features, in the case of nickel batteries, replacement of the battery in the laptop will be required earlier. But lithium can "grow old" by themselves, even without being used. And nickel needs to be discharged completely, and only then to charge, also completely. Otherwise, you can lose a large part of the source capacity.
To prolong the life of the battery, it is not recommended to keep it fully charged, connected to the mains. Many laptops have special software that allows you to charge the battery to fifty to eighty percent, after which charging stops. In this case, the replacement of the laptop battery will be significantly delayed. If your model does not support such software, then it makes sense to defuse the battery to thirty percent and pull it out of the laptop (this applies to cases where you have been using power for a long time).
If the laptop is less than half an hour from the time of full charge, it is recommended to replace the battery. Otherwise, you risk losing unsaved data and even disabling the operating system. Since this work is just around the corner, a complete battery failure, and your laptop will simply go out without warning, and what this is fraught with, I think you are all aware of.
The same applies to the blown battery. If you find the presence of these signs - it is also recommended to replace the battery. This indicates that it can be closed and at any time completely out of order. Also, theoretically, there is a possibility of a rupture of this power source. So do not tighten with a replacement in this case.
Treat this power source with care, do not allow mechanical damage, do not work with the device in very hot conditions or in the open sun. The same applies to low temperatures. If the battery is idle for a long time, then at least once every two to three months, perform a charge-discharge cycle. Do not leave the battery with a deep discharge for a long time. This is also a sure way to let the laptop tell "it is recommended to replace the battery".
