The Principle of Natural Appropriateness in the Modern Education System of Children

At present, pedagogy has made a big step forward, which is manifested in the increasing use of new methods and methods of teaching, built on the principles of democracy and freedom of choice. However, as statistics show, despite the high level of civilization development, the quality of modern education is far from ideal. It turns out that in pedagogical education there is a lack of such an important factor as natural appropriateness, that is, man's correspondence to his original nature.

Despite the fact that the principle of environmental friendliness was formulated several centuries ago, today many leading teachers of various countries turn to it, introducing its elements into the modern system of education of the younger generation.

The positive influence of environmental friendliness was first noticed by the ancient Greek philosophers Aristotle, Democritus and Plato. In their ancient treatises on the world order and the significance of man in the world, they emphasized the inseparable connection of man and his dependence not only on terrestrial nature, but also on cosmic phenomena. More precisely, the principle of naturalness in pedagogy was formulated by the Slavic scientist of Czech origin Jan Amos Komensky in the middle of the 17th century, having as its foundation the important role of raising a child and instilling in him the awareness of his divine essence. Famous works "The General Council on the Correction of Human Affairs" and "The World of Sensible Things in Pictures" have become widespread throughout Europe.

The principle of naturalness and its modern interpretation implies a scientific understanding of the relationship between social and natural processes, where education is consistent with the basic laws of human development and nature in the complex. This takes into account the age, gender, interests of the child, as well as his natural abilities and talents. Our famous compatriot V.I. Vernadsky formulated in the early twentieth century the notion of the noosphere as an energy-informational shell of the earth, influenced by people's thoughts, their actions, and way of life.

With the harmonious development of man and the conformity of his spiritual nature, the noosphere is enriched with positive energy. If a person lives in contradiction with the world around him, then there is a risk not only of a psycho-emotional crisis, but a reduction of his moral attitudes and criteria. That is why, at the moment, the principle of naturalness of education should be an important part of education.

When bringing up in a natural way a person gets the following advantages:

  1. Understanding of all processes occurring on earth in their relationship with cosmic phenomena and cycles;
  2. Awareness of itself as part of the universe and microcosm of the macrocosm;
  3. Understanding the subtle connection between human life activity and the noosphere as the main factor influencing all world events;
  4. Formation of personal responsibility not only for all actions and actions that a person commits, but also for everything that happens to him or happens;
  5. Education of a sense of belonging to the society and the natural environment in which a person grows and develops.

Thus, the principle of environmental friendliness plays a crucial role in the formation of a person as an integral personality, which, with the proper education of man, allows him to grow up to be a real citizen of the universe. The natural process of every healthy person is a constant craving for knowledge, an example of which are children who are striving for everything new and unexplored.

The principle of naturalness also says that over the years this interest should not be lost, but, on the contrary, it should increase more and more. If a person has lost the natural craving for knowledge, then this is a bad sign, which indicates the loss of a person's life core. That is why in the system of modern education from the earliest stage it is necessary to instill principles that will contribute not only to the correct and all-round development of man, but also make him happy.
