Jacques Yves Cousteau. A man who showed the seabed to the world
When a person stands on the shore, he is always interested in what is hidden in the seabed? Some dive to see what is there, some just stay on shore, but there are people like Jacques Yves Cousteau. This person devoted almost all his life to finding out for himself and to show others what secrets and beauties hides the ocean floor. The car accident, because of which he could not continue his service in the army, allowed him to find a world that is much more interesting than what is on land, which before it was almost unexplored.
But on this Jacques Yves Cousteau did not stop. At the age of 40 he bought a ship called Calypso, equipped him with a science ship and set out on his longest voyage, which lasted almost seven years. He not only did research, but also filmed films in parallel. Two of his paintings even received an Oscar. The seabed was for Kusto's house. It was on the expedition that he continued his inventive activity. Together with his sons, he designed a whole series of bathyscaphes to explore the seabed in places where it had previously been impossible.
Although Cousteau devoted almost all of his life to the sea, it keeps many more puzzles that mankind has to guess. After all, only a small part of the oceans and seas have been explored at the moment.
Mankind can destroy much better than create. And this threatens the fact that the seas can be emptied, and we will never see those beautiful paintings that hide in the ocean basins. Some species of flora and fauna may die before scientists find them. It remains to be hoped that soon another person will appear who can continue to tell the world about underwater inhabitants.
