How to knit a round coquette with knitting needles: basic principles of expansion, schemes, description, photo

There are several ways that are most often used to decorate knitted wardrobe items with a coquette. The most popular are two: a coquette, inscribed in raglan, and round. Both one and the second can be executed from below upwards or in the opposite direction. In the first case, it will be necessary to cut the loops of the product in the gap between the armhole and the neck, in the second - to add.

Features of knitting a round yoke

For many craftswomen, a round coquette with knitting needles is a real challenge. This is not surprising, because when performing classic raglan on top, the coquette cloth gradually expands with the product. This usually occurs in every second row (for example, in the front row). Markers mark four points and new elements are added to the marked loop and after.

It is worth noting that, performing such a job, it is rather difficult to make a mistake, since the whole algorithm is simple and understandable. But a completely different picture opens when one has to deal with the calculation of a round coquette - there are no clearly marked points for the formation of new loops.

If a round coquette is made with knitting needles from above (for women, men or children), then it is enlarged by adding loops in the pattern itself. At the same time, the master must be attentive and have a developed imagination in order to properly perform the work.

Why, then, need such a round coquette? Spokes easier and faster to knit raglan. The fact is that in the first case the decor will be divided into segments by the lines of raglan, and in the second - the coquette is a solid strip of ornament, which beautifully and smoothly encircles the shoulders.

Children's clothing is good in that it is very quick to manufacture and the material is required much less than the product for an adult. A small cardigan or sweater is an excellent field for maneuvers. And if in the course of work an error is detected, then it will be necessary to disband a little. In extreme cases, if you find that the round coquette is made with knitting needles is too difficult, and the scheme is not clear to you, then such an unfortunate project is not a pity to dissolve.

One-color jacket with a yoke

One large sheet is a rapport of a pattern. For a child 6-9 years of age there should be six.

Care should be taken to add loops. The first half of the rapport provides the extension of the coquette. New elements are formed when the capes are made. In ordinary openwork patterns, each cap is counterbalanced by a subsequent reduction of the loop, but there are no abbreviations.

The second half of the rapport is a flat canvas without any additions. Here there is a balance between the new loops derived from the nakids, and the elements shortened in the same row.

The above scheme is also relevant in cases where a round coquette is knitted with spokes from above for women. The description should be only slightly adjusted and compared with the planned size of the product.

Execution of the backrest and shelves

When the detail of the coquette is completed, the canvas should be divided into five sections:

1. Right shelf.
2. Right sleeve.
3. Back.
4. Left sleeve.
5. Left shelf.

The boundaries between areas are better marked with markers. Then loops for each sleeve are transferred to the thick thread (sections No. 2 and No. 4).

The backrest part needs to be slightly expanded. To do this, the first 5 cm are knit, adding two loops in each face row (at the beginning and at the end of the row). Obtained bevels form armholes. You need to tie the same bevels on the shelves. Then the back and shelf cloths are transferred to common circular knitting needles and knit together.

When the product is of sufficient length, a few centimeters of garter stitching are performed and all the hinges are closed.

Completion: knitting sleeves

To finish the work, you need to consistently dial the knitted hinges on the knitting needles, fasten 5 cm with the bevels (decrease in each 2nd row) and tie the parts to the desired length. They can be narrowed to cuffs or left wide. Instead of facial smoothness, you can use literally any ornament.

It is interesting that even the simplest model and the elementary pattern will look great if you trim a neat round yoke with knitting needles from above (for children). The master class presented by us covers only the main points, and the master's own calculations will have to be fulfilled by herself. No matter how detailed the description, the difference in thickness and composition of the yarn will nullify all calculations.
